Yes, you saw it here first! The world’s first Bentley Continental GT aftermarket radio replacement. We were successful in building a new custom dash panel and maintaining all factory controls through the Bentley screen.
This modification allows all Bentley Continental GT and Continental Flying Spur owners to replace their infotainment system with a more up to date setup, complete with new features like HDMI mirroring, bluetooth streaming, and wifi!
In this particular vehicle we custom built a dash panel that looked very close to the factory unit with new buttons around the left and right edge of the radio and maintained the original factory buttons above the radio and remolded them into the new kit. We used the Kenwood DNX891HD which includes all the latest and greatest features like HDMI input for Android and iPhone, Bluetooth streaming and handsfree calling, DVD, HD Radio, SiriusXM, and much more.
The factory controls are all retained through the Kenwood screen as well. By using the Auxiliary source on the Kenwood radio you can actually use your factory Bentley infotainment system which allows you to access A/C adjustments, Trip counter, Vehicle settings, and all other factory settings as seen in the video.
